Educational Qualification

For Junior Research Fellowship: Applying candidates must have M. Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B.Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST, physically and Visually Handicapped candidates) from any recognized university/institution.

Applicants enrolled for M.Sc. or having done 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of application form are also capable to apply.

For Lectureship of NET: Candidates should be a PhD degree holders who have passed Master’s degree with at least 50% marks.

Age Limit: Candidates age must have maximum 28 years. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/ physically handicapped/Visually handicapped and female candidates.

Required Qualification: Applicant must have qualified Master Degree or equivalent in concerned specialty from any recognized University as per the position that the candidate is willing to apply.

Application Fee: Candidates who are going to submit UGC NET Registration Form need to deposit an application fee Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for Other Backward Classes and Rs. 250/- SC/ ST/ PWD) in the form e-challan.

About UGC NET:
The basic objective to conducts UGC NET exam is to determine suitability for college and university level lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship for Indian nationals in order to ascertain minimum standards for the entrants in the teaching profession and research.

University Grants Commission (UGC) published in two thousand thirteen that candidates who clear the National Eligibility Test successfully would be able for lucrative jobs in the public sector undertakings (PSUs). We are informing you Paper II of UGC NET Commerce comprises of 50 objectives type questions, including Multiple choice, Matching type, True/False, Assertion – Reasoning type. The question paper will carry 100 marks and Paper III is divided in 02 parts like as A and B. UGC NET Paper III (A) is going to ten10 short essay type questions carrying sixteen marks each, dear candidates, you are required to write answer of this paper within 300 words. No external choice will we offered, however, there will be 1 question with internal choice from each unit (i.e. 10 questions from 10 units; maximum marks 160.)

Paper III (B) of UGC NET is compulsory and paper will be comprised of 1 question from each of the Electives. Candidates need to attend only one question approximately eight hundred words for forty marks. This paper will carry two hundred marks.
